Located near the Salerno steps this was a very busy hotel but staff were quiet friendly and helpful. The queues at check in and check out are massive and patience is required, not due to inefficiency of staff but rather lack of staff. The rooms were clean, reasonable size with comfortable beds, breakfast was a bit of pandemonium given the amount of people wanting breakfast. Staff were efficient but pretty much everything ran out at one point or another, cups, glasses, coffee, fruit, bread the hotel was located in an older part of town and at first we thought an unsafe part, however we walked down to the Cacasa Social Club (great spot) for drinks and supper and never felt worried. Also the Seleron Steps, the Cathedral and the aqueduct were all within reasonable walking distance and, we felt, without any safety concerns
