I paid the most money I have ever paid for a hotel and had the worst experience. It was under construction, which is never noted anywhere. There was no roof top, no coffee in the am. No buckets for ice, no ice unless brought to you in a broken bag. The shower would go either screaming hot or luke warm while you were taking one. The sink was cracked and the cold water would turn on either direction which made it difficult to turn off. No refridgerator, and the king bed took up the entire room which made it difficult to get around it without tripping on a corner. You cannot ask people to spend $170/night for that kind of experience.
